How would the French Authorities treat British people in the event of a no deal BREXIT?

 There is a lot of uncertainty but the English Embassy is trying to provide as much information as possible regarding this and of course the French are still putting some of their plans into place .  However the French decree earlier this year spelled out  a way forward for Britons living in France in the event of a no deal BREXIT . It is however vital to remember that the French Government want British people to stay in France . Both the French president and prime minister have made that clear.
