Breaking News Known Date for commencement of EU Cross Border Succession regulations

The recently adopted EU regulation on cross border successions was published on the 27th July and becomes law on the 17th August. 

However it will not be applicable until 17th August 2015.

This relatively long 3 year delay will allow many remaining uncertainties concerning the impact of the regulation – not least its scope for UK residents – to be ironed out beforehand.
